Lee Evans
Managing Director/Lead Technician
Lee has worked in orthotics his entire career and boasts more than 30 years' service with the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, which is where he started in 1985 as a 16 year old trainee Orthotic Technician. Lee moved from Trainee to Technician, through to Orthotics Supervisor and then Production Manager, delivering outstanding service and quality to the NHS for several decades, including the many highly complex cases refered to the RNOH. Over the years, Lee has gained extensive knowledge and experience in manufacturing TLSO'S, AFOs, KAFOs, specialising in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis corrective spinal braces. As Managing Director of Ortholese, Lee oversees all aspects of Ortholese’s operations but remains involved in the day to day managing the team of technicians.
Samantha Evans
Director/Business Development
Samantha has more than 30 years’ experience working for international and national UK manufacturing companies, where she held a business development and commercial role including Key Account Management, National Account Management and National Sales & Business Development Manager. Professional and knowledgeable, Samantha has experience of training, overseeing staff and UK sales teams. Here at Ortholese, Samantha overseas all the administration, customer service, human resourses, marketing and accounts departments and personally looks after all existing and new clients.
Lorraine Horan
Digital Manager
Lorraine is responsible for all things digital. With a background in advertising and having studied photography, Lorraine has an eye for design and is responsible for Ortholese's online brand and social media presence. In her own time, Lorraine loves to keep fit and is known for running marathons to raise funds for charity.
Nicola Brown
Head of Finance
A chartered accountant, Nicola oversees all financial aspects of the business. Nicola has worked in finance her whole career and in her role brings governance and accountability to the Ortholese organisation, ensuring we are sustainable and can continue to offer the best service.
Miriam Drahmane
Head of Marketing
Miriam is a Chartered Marketer, having gained her Masters level post-graduate qualification with CIM. She is also an Honours graduate in Marketing, French and German and has had an international marketing career spanning multiple sectors for the last 20 years. A strategic marketer with expertise in both traditional and digital marketing, Miriam’s role within Ortholese is to ensure correct and timely communication with our clients and stakeholders.
David Smith
Technician
David has worked in orthotics his entire career and boasts more than 30 years experience and knowledge. Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital trained, David has gained extensive knowledge and experience in manufacturing TLSO'S, AFOs, KAFOs. In his spare time David plays tennis and loves fishing.
